Queen Mary Direct Drive

We are a few weeks into our Spring 2024 Direct Drive
campaign and our community has raised
$4,333 for technology for Queen Mary students!
That’s 17%  of  our $25,000 goal!
THANK YOU to all who have donated so far!

Please type “Queen Mary Elementary PAC Direct Drive” in message box.
Donate at anytime and receive a tax deductible receipt.

Recently, PAC members had the chance to connect with Principal Elyssa Derban to further discuss Queen Mary’s technology needs. We saw for ourselves that Queen Mary Elementary is operating with incomplete sets of laptops and iPads, and that some classrooms are missing basic built-in projectors.

$25,000 will enable the school to buy:

10-20 new iPads & cases ($700 each)

15-20 new laptops ($700 each)

10-15 new keyboards ($170 each)

1 ViewBoard for school library ($3,200)

1 classroom projector ($3,000)

1 portable PA ($2500)

Please donate by June 15!

PAC executive committee - open roles

Your QM PAC is looking to fill several open positions. These volunteer roles are not only valuable within the QM community, but they are also necessary to receive the annual gaming grant (the estimated gaming grant for 2024-2025 is $7,000). In order to apply for a grant a school needs a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
The PAC is looking to fill the following roles:
- Chair (or 2 co-chairs)
- Vice Chair
- Secretary
- Member(s) at large
