🎃 The Halloween Dance 2025 🎶 (+ Pumpkin-Carving Contest)

Come in your favourite costume and join us for a spooky night of dancing, laughter, and family fun!

👻 Who Can Attend?

To make sure all students have a chance to come, the dance is open to:

• Queen Mary Elementary students (Grade 7 and under)

• Their parents/guardians

🗓 Event Details

• When: Thursday, October 30, 2025 — 5:00 to 7:00 PM

• Where: The Spooktacular Gymnasium of Queen Mary Elementary School

• Tickets: FREE!

  
  

  • Everyone attending (students, parents/guardians, volunteers) must order a ticket online from the PAC website.

  • You’ll receive an e-ticket and must show it at the door for entry.

  
  

🔑 Ticket & Safety Guidelines

• For fire regulations and everyone’s safety, we must follow the gym’s occupancy limit.

• Only Queen Mary students (Grade 7 and under) and their parents/guardians may attend.

• This is a family event — children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian.

• Please treat our amazing volunteers with respect and kindness.

• No costume weapons allowed.

🎃 Pumpkin-Carving Contest

Think you’ve got the spookiest pumpkin in town? Join our contest!

• Pick up an entry form from the school office.

• Bring your pumpkin (already carved at home) + entry form to the main foyer/office on October 30 (in the morning before school).

• Pumpkins will be judged and displayed during the dance.

• Don’t forget to take your creation home after the event.

🪩 Decor Donations

Got old Halloween decorations gathering dust? We’d love to use them!

• Theme: Disco Halloween (think glitter, sparkles, disco balls).

This event can’t happen without our amazing parent volunteers. There are lots of fun ways to help:

• Before the dance: decorating the gym

• During the dance: door security, ticket counting, wristbands, food & drink stand, kids’ crafts

• After the dance: clean-up crew
