About the Event
Physician and filmmaker, Delaney Ruston, decided to make the SCREENAGERS documentary when she found herself constantly struggling with her two kids about screen time. Â Ruston felt guilty and confused, not sure what limits were best, especially around mobile phones, social media, gaming and how to monitor online homework. Â This film not only explores the impact of screen technology on kids but also offers parents and families proven solutions that work.
There are two ways to view this film:
- In Person: Wednesday, June 19th @ 7pm, Queen Mary Elementary Library.
- Online: Â Â Screening will be available for two weeks starting June 19th
**All parents are invited to attend/watch. Please note Dr. Ruston has advised the movie is only suitable for children in grades 6&7. No babysitting will be provided at this event.
