About the Event

Physician and filmmaker, Delaney Ruston, decided to make the SCREENAGERS documentary when she found herself constantly struggling with her two kids about screen time.  Ruston felt guilty and confused, not sure what limits were best, especially around mobile phones, social media, gaming and how to monitor online homework.  This film not only explores the impact of screen technology on kids but also offers parents and families proven solutions that work.

There are two ways to view this film:

  1. In Person: Wednesday, June 19th @ 7pm, Queen Mary Elementary Library.
  2. Online:   Screening will be available for two weeks starting June 19th

**All parents are invited to attend/watch. Please note Dr. Ruston has advised the movie is only suitable for children in grades 6&7. No babysitting will be provided at this event.
