Summer Celebration!!

Variety Show​

All QM students, K-7, have been invited to share something they've been working on in this noncompetitive showcase.

Examples of performances:

• A traditional performance from your culture

• Skits or short plays

• Skills (gymnastics, ball handling, etc.)

• Instrumental music (solo or group)

• Singing (solo or group)

• Dance (solo or group)

• Comedy routines / telling jokes

• Reading a poem

• Magic shows

• Anything!

Informal, no-pressure “auditions” are being held at QM during lunch recesses. The purpose is just to check that the performances are appropriate for all ages. All appropriate performances are accepted. Students must sign up in their classrooms.

Games

We will have roughly 15 games, depending on volunteer availability. Games will be free of charge, thanks to an anonymous donor. There is no limit to the number of games that a child can play. ​Children will earn tickets for playing games. One "participation ticket" will be awarded for most games, and some games will have additional "victory tickets".

Prizes

A prize is awarded for 5 games tickets. Prizes will be edible (to reduce waste). There are a maximum of 3 prizes awarded to each child to ensure sufficient availability for every child. A wristband will be given at the entry to the event and marked when each prize is collected. ​​

Snacks and beverages (Bubly, juice boxes, water) will be available for cash purchase at the event. Tap payments may also be available (only for adults).

Pizza by the slice (Panago) and Drinks can be pre-purchased online . Limited quantities of pizza slices will be available for purchase at the event.

This is a zero waste event! Watch for our compost and recycling bins. The goal is to produce no garbage!

​

NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES PERMITTED

This is the fundraising aspect of the event. Please consider donating an item or experience for the auction. Class parents are invited to organize a class donation. Business owners may consider how their business could contribute. Thank you, QM community, for your support!
